The augmentation of the lip volume aims to achieve mouth symmetry in proportion to the rest of the face.
This augmentation can be achieved with heterologous materials (hyaluronic acid, silicone stripes, etc.), as well as autologous tissues (fat, PRP, a combination of fat with PRP).
All these treatments are of temporary nature – excluding silicone stripes – and therefore, they should be repeated in regular intervals, usually every 6 to 12 months.
Permanent restoration can be achieved gradually by pushing the vermilion of the lip (red of the lip) outwards. For the expert, this is a simple operation, which is performed under local anesthesia, the duration of which does not exceed 20 minutes.
The result is exceptional, completely natural, without any exaggerations, and without the need for a repeat.
The following photos demonstrate the result of this specific operation.
